Interventional Care

PDI is proud to have partnered with the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) for a free LIVE from Industry webinar entitled, “Nasal Decolonization to Prevent Staphylococcus aureus infections.”
Presenter Marin Schweizer, PhD. an epidemiologist and Associate Professor of General Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa, has performed many research studies to evaluate whether nasal decolonization prevents Staphylococcus aureus infections.
In this webinar, she describes her multicenter research studies that evaluated nasal decolonization interventions, including real-world barriers and facilitators to implementation of these interventions. She also discusses the evidence base for nasal decolonization to prevent S. aureus infections among different patient populations.
NOTE: This is a recorded webinar. It was presented live on November 5 as part of the APIC Live From Industry webinar series. A CE certificate was awarded only to attendees who participated in the live webinar
