How does the Continuously Active Disinfection (CAD) technology work?

Once the 1-minute contact time for immediate disinfection has been achieved, the antimicrobial shield (aka CAD) is active and will last for up to 24 hours or 96 touches against ESKAPE pathogens. Within those 24 hours or 96 touches, if the surface is re-contaminated, the antimicrobial shield will kill the ESKAPE pathogens within 5 minutes.
